Jigsaw Domains

Introduction

A Domain Name, typically just called a Domain, identifies a resource on the Internet. Since the Internet is global, each Domain must be globally unique. In the whole world, there is only one goat.com or jigsawdomains.com.

Although every Domain must be unique, there is an absolutely vast number of potential Domains. Such as x.com or abc123.com or 123456.com and so on and so on! More so, every Domain, regardless of its labelling, achieves exactly the same functional purpose. A Domain such as x.com has exactly the same functional capability as jigsawdomains.com.

Even though there is a vast number of potential Domains, and every Domain is as capable as any other, there is still a robust market for Domains. Because, an apt Domain can give a service an immediate sense of importance and legitimacy. For example, compare the pithy japan.com to the somewhat clunky iguidejapan.com.

Which is what Jigsaw Domains is all about. There are billions of people. A truly vast number of potential Domains. And hundreds of millions of registered Domains. We wish to search through all those, seeking out perfect matches.
